DRVU was conceived by a rideshare driver in Hawaiʻi through firsthand experience on the road and countless conversations with passengers. The idea took shape through meticulous analysis of how rideshare pricing fluctuates throughout the day and in response to holidays, major events, weather conditions, rider demand, and algorithm-driven changes. Rather than approaching transportation only from a corporate boardroom, DRVU grew from observing how rideshare actually works in real time—for both passengers and drivers.
